The Problem
Herd Advance, an Aberdeenshire agritech company founded by beef farmers, had engineered something genuinely innovative: the Stockman, an automated weighing and sorting system, with the Yardsman following close behind. Each product had a logo — but that was where the identity ended. The company had no unifying brand, no color system, no photography direction, and no coherent website. Every new product launched into a visual vacuum, and materials representing award-winning technology looked nothing like the caliber of the engineering behind them.
The Agitation
Herd Advance was preparing to raise investment and bring the Stockman to market at the same time. The founders were walking into investor meetings and agricultural shows with fragmented materials that undersold a patented, award-winning product — and investors judge credibility in seconds. With the Yardsman launching and further products planned, every release threatened to fragment the identity further. Without a coherent brand, a working website, and a pitch that showed the Stockman properly, the funding round itself was at risk.

The Solution
We built the Herd Advance brand up from its product logos: a signature green-and-grey palette, confident typography, a monochrome cattle photography style, and a product sub-brand system that gives Stockman, Yardsman, and every future product a consistent home. We designed and developed a Webflow website the Herd Advance team manages themselves. We then produced the investor presentation video — 3D modeling of the Stockman, animation, and professional voiceover — and carried the identity across the investor deck, brochures, flyers, and show banners.

The Result
The rebrand did its job where it mattered most: Herd Advance secured their investment, backed by a pitch deck and 3D product video that let investors see exactly how the Stockman works. Today the Stockman is working on farms across the UK, and the team presents one coherent brand across every touchpoint — from the website they update themselves to the banners they take to agricultural shows. We continue to support Herd Advance as the brand grows into its next products.
