Translating a Family Vision into an Investable Concept
Founders Adam and Astrid Bellerby identified a massive gap in the UK hospitality market: families consistently struggled to find the perfect pub for a day out. They envisioned "Pub With"—an intuitive, Airbnb-style directory app tailored specifically for the pub industry and families. To turn this brilliant concept into a functional product, they needed to raise £75,000 for app development. However, they lacked the tangible brand assets and user interface designs required to confidently pitch to investors.

The Risk of Pitching Without Visual Proof
Pitching a tech startup to investors without a clear visual identity or functional mockup is an uphill battle. Investors need to see a product to believe in its potential. Without a professional brand or high-fidelity UI screens to demonstrate exactly how families would use the platform, the Bellerbys risked their innovative concept being dismissed as just another unproven idea, effectively halting the app's development before a single line of code was written.
The Solution
Crafting a Minimum Viable Brand and Investor Pitch Deck
We partnered with Adam and Astrid to build a powerful Minimum Viable Brand (MVB) from the ground up. We designed a welcoming, family-focused visual identity and translated their core app features into highly intuitive UI/UX mockups. We then packaged these assets into a polished, persuasive investor slide deck, giving the founders a compelling visual narrative. Beyond the pitch, we stepped in to lead the ongoing UI/UX design, collaborating closely with their development team to ensure our designs translated flawlessly into the final build.

With the platform now coming to life, our partnership with Adam and Astrid continues to grow. We are actively leading the platform's UX refinement and providing strategic design support as they prepare to raise additional capital to scale the "Airbnb of pubs" nationwide.
